Maura was born and raised in North Reading, MA, she now resides in New Britain, CT with her husband of over 10 years, their daughter and currently one foster son. The family is rounded out by an 80 lap dog and two very snobby cats.
Maura has written various fiction works for as long as she can remember, but Mohican Lake is the first that she has attempted to have published. She is looking forward to a bright future as a published author and moving forward with her writing career.
